Tranmere Rovers boss Gary Brabin felt it was a deserved point gained away at the EBB Stadium after a 0-0 draw against Aldershot Town.
The former Southport manager was pleased to pick up another point on the road but was disappointed with some of his team’s play.
He told Tranmere Player: “It was a scrappy game. I think a draw was the fair result.
“We have to take the positives from the game, it’s another clean sheet away from home and a point so it’s not a disaster but I don’t think we deserved much more.
“The first half was possibly the tattiest performance we’ve put in this season. We were loose with our control and passing, the simple things we’ve been doing well.
“In the second half, I thought we got a little bit better and as the game went on we looked stronger, got crosses in the box and caused them a few problems.
“To come away from home and keep a clean sheet is positive. We’re disappointed with certain aspects of our game, but we’ve drawn and lost games where we’ve played well, whereas today, we were a bit loose and we need to sharpen up on that.”
