Brackley Town have announced the further development of their St James Park stadium.

The club’s ambitious plans for the future will take a further step forward this summer with the construction of a new ground entrance, new classroom facility, toilets and hospitality suite. The development will provide bespoke facilities for the new Academy the club plan to launch in 2020, improve the standard of accommodation available for use outside of match-days and will enhance the match-day experience of spectators.

Of special significance will be the provision of the infrastructure for an academy that will offer talented young footballers in the Brackley area the opportunity to enjoy high quality football development with continued academic study. Based at the club, the two year, full-time course will be fully funded with Brackley Town FC working alongside partners to deliver an outstanding programme that will provide pathways onto university or into the world of sport, business and the leisure industries.

The initial work to submit planning approval and undertake design work for the development is underway. The club says it looks forward to updating supporters on the progress of this exciting project over the coming months.
