Brackley Town travel to Harrogate Town as the two unbeaten sides in the Vanarama National League North face each other.
It has been a fine start for Brackley Town and they next face their biggest test of the season in a side who have matched their fine form as well.
Kevin Wilkin knows just how important a game this match will be he told the club’s website.
“It is a big game and another big challenge, it is what we want – we want to be challenging at the right end of the table and looking forward to big games like this.”
Their impressive start to the season has seen them sit in second place and Wilkin says it matches their initial aim.
“Six wins and a draw has been a great start we want to continue that, everyone was aiming to make the play-offs, the standard of the league is moving forward, it doesn’t get any easier.”
Their winning run came to an end after drawing with Chorley but Wilkin said four points from a possible six was something he is pleased about.
“We had two difficult games during the Bank Holiday, we ideally wanted six points but four is a good return, our goals against record is going well for us.”
When looking at why their good run has happened Wilkin explained the process they have gone through.
“We made a lot of changes from our time in the end of the first season, we only kept a few on, last season we were solid we progressed, we retained who we wanted to and have complimented that with a bit more experience.”
