Brackley Town have signed defender Jordan Gough, who was recently released by National League side Solihull Moors.

He joined Gresley Rovers in 2008 as a result of former Midland Alliance side Stapenhill’s demise and made the left-back slot his own winning players’ player of the year three seasons running along with the supporters’ player of the year twice.

The 26-year-old spent a year at Derby County as a schoolboy but having joined Gresley remained loyal to them as the club re-formed following liquidation during which time they have secured two promotions.

Gough signed for Solihull in the summer of 2013, but the attacking left-back missed most of last season through injury.Gough has played twenty-two games this term, including the Emirates FA Cup tie against Luton Town in December.
