In a recent interview with BBC Sussex, Eastbourne Borough boss Lee Bradbury revealed that he is pleased with the squad he is putting together.
With the first pre-season game just under a month away, the new Borough boss is still in the process of building his first team at Priory Lane having left Havant & Waterlooville at the end of last season.
But putting together a squad is something that Lee Bradbury is relishing, and the former Bournemouth manager is looking forward to the new season.
“I’ve come into the club with only two players still on contract,” said Bradbury. “That has given me the opportunity to bring in my own players and having signed a few, I hope to still have more to bring in. This is a new challenge, and one which I am looking forward to.”
Nicky Wheeler, Manny Adebowale and Elliott Romain have joined Ciaren Jones as new additions at Priory Lane this term, with the latter joining on loan from Norwich City.
“Ciaren has come in from Norwich Under 23 and is very well thought of,” added Bradbury. “He is still developing physically, and he is a really good capture. Norwich will be looking at him to get regular first team football, and I must thank Neil Adams who helped put the deal together.”
