Braintree Town have confirmed Ryan Maxwell as the club’s new manager.
Assisted by Nicky Symons, Maxwell led the Iron to their first points of the season last night, as Braintree beat Concord Rangers 1-0.
After seven defeats in their opening seven, the win brings them level on points with Dulwich Hamlet and Bath City in the National League South.
Both Maxwell and Symons have previously played for the club.
