Wrexham have confirmed that assistant manager Brian Flynn has been placed in interim charge.

The 63-year-old played for the club before having a 12-year spell as manager. The former Wales midfielder is to take charge for the next two fixtures, the club say.

It follows the departure of manager Bryan Hughes last night, a player Flynn managed for the Reds in the 90s.
