Gateshead midfielder Dean Briggs has cancelled his contract by mutual consent ahead of a move to Australian outfit Holland Park Hawks.
His departure was confirmed this afternoon, the 19-year-old set to join the Brisbane-based side next week.
Briggs signed first-team terms at the International Stadium last summer, following an impressive season for the club’s reserve and U19 sides.
