Gloucester City have secured the signing of Bristol City’s centre-half Tom Harrison on an initial one-month loan deal.
Harrison spent last season on loan in both the National League North and South. First in the North with Hereford on a one-month loan, where he started two games before joining Weston-super-Mare later into the 2018/19 campaign in the South, and remained there for the entirety of that season.
Harrison has been ever-present for Bristol City’s Under-23 side so far this season, who currently sit 2nd in the Professional Development League. He last appeared for the Robins in Sunday’s 0-0 draw with Leeds United at Elland Road.
His move to the Tigers sees him reunite with several familiar faces; Vince Harper and Kieran Smith from Bristol City, and Marlon Jackson and Jennison Myrie-Williams from Weston, where he was also managed by City first-team coach Marc McGregor.
Also joining the club as short-term cover is goalkeeper Josh Bradley-Hurst. He arrives from Birmingham City’s development squad to replace fellow club teammate Zach Jeacock, who will miss both the Telford United and Darlington matches due to his England Under-19 call-up.
The Scottish keeper was previously at Celtic and also has appeared for his country at Under-16 level.
