Whilst Garry steps back and takes a well deserved break Paul Williams, Daniel Douglas-Pringle and James Kinsey will take over the First Team, James will oversee the Development Squad team until we find a replacement.
The club has a tough week with a home fixture on Saturday in the FA Vase then two away cup games at Shirebrook on Tuesday in the Derbyshire Senior Cup followed by an away fixture at Squires Gate next Saturday in the Macron Cup
New Mills AFC Committee would like to thank Garry for everything he has done at the club in Managing through a difficult year last season and leading this squad into the Hallmark Security League for this seasons campaign.
The hard work and time he has dedicated to the club both on and off the field has left Garry exhausted and he wants to take a step back and spend some much deserved time with his family, Garry has been juggling work and family commitments with his role at New Mills AFC and needs to relax, he remains part of New Mills AFC Committee and after some time out we hope you will see Garry back at Church Lane supporting the club off the pitch.
The squad of players at New Mills AFC is strong and recent games prove we have the strength in depth to compete in this League and we hope all the players will remain at the club with the continuity of Paul, Daniel and James taking over leadership. The Development Squad have their next home game next Friday against Riasa South so please come along and support them.
Sue Hyde, Secretary New Mills AFC”
