Bradley Bubb will not be rushed back into action at Ebbsfleet United despite manager Daryl McMahon suggesting he could be ready to play again in November.

The striker scored 16 goals in the Vanarama National League South last season before sitting out the play-offs after snapping his Achilles.

The training ground incident was a blow for player for a for club but he could be back sooner than anticipated.

But as Kent Online’s Steve Tervet reports, that could well be away from Stonebridge Road.

Fleet could do with his services. A 0-0 draw at home to Tranmere Rovers on Saturday means Fleet have still only won once this season.

McMahon said: “We’re hoping November time he’ll be back but he’ll be nowhere near playing.

“He’s been out for a long time so he’ll need to go out on loan and play some games before we consider him to be in with the first team.

“I don’t want him being judged when he’s been out for six months, which people will do and it wouldn’t be fair on him.

“He needs to go and play some games away from the eye of everyone here and get himself where he needs to be and then come back in,” he told them.
