Boss Rob Edwards is ‘seeing a lot of good things’ from AFC Telford United despite them being four points from safety in National League North.

The Bucks conceded a last-gasp leveller as they drew 2-2 at Tamworth on Saturday. They are third from bottom ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Spennymoor Town.

Edwards is in optimistic mood, though, and said: “I’m seeing a lot of good things at the moment – and we’re not necessarily getting the rewards for it. We have to keep believing and doing those right things because results will follow.

“We should be talking about three points – but we’re not. There’s a lot of games coming.

“We need to continue the good form and take that into Tuesday. We know it’s going to be very difficult, they are a very good team with a lot of ammo.

“If we keep performing that way, we can cause teams a lot of trouble. It’s there for all to see.”
