AFC Telford United have confirmed that Ben Bailey has left the club this morning.

The player contacted Bucks manager Rob Edwards on Monday morning to confirm he would like to move on to play regular football.

Bailey commented “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, players and fans for making my time at AFC Telford one I will never forget. I have met some great people whilst being at the club and it has been a joy to play football at such a great set up.

I have decided to move on, it was my own decision and the manager totally understands. I don’t feel I have had enough playing time this pre-season to show my best and do that I need be playing more. I wish the lads all the best in the upcoming season I am sure they will all do well and represent the club as well as it deserves”
