AFC Telford United have completed the signing of Curtis Strong.

The former Tamworth left back has joined the Bucks as our 6th signing of the close season.

Since signing for Tamworth in August 2015, Curtis caught the interest of several Football League clubs after several eye-catching performances.

Curtis suffered a knee ligament injury last summer whilst training ahead of a stint with Walsall and joins AFC Telford United having spent a season out the game.

Bucks Boss Rob Smith “Curtis is another young lad with great potential that can get back into the Football League. We are delighted to have secured his signature. He is a player who can defend well but has pace and likes to get forward and provide assists for the rest of the team and we feel he will be an excellent addition to the squad”

Curtis spoke of his delight at signing for the club this afternoon.

“I am delighted to sign for Telford, it’s a big club with great fans who I can’t wait to play in front of. The club and the managers have shown great faith in me and I look forward to working hard and repaying them throughout the season as we push on towards a successful season”
