The club has appointed former Welling United coach Paul Barnes as first-team coach and Bull is pleased to have him on board for the upcoming season.

“Paul was recommended to me by several people and upon meeting him within five minutes I knew I had found the right man.

“Paul is an excellent coach who will implement and put into practice the style of play that I want my team to demonstrate this season.”

Also returning this season is goalkeeper coach Stacey Beckham, who joined the club last December after a spell at Welling United.

“Stacey is someone that I have forged a positive working relationship with. Even though his official title is goalkeeper coach he brings so much more than that,” added Bull

“I trust Stacey and that is vital in this line of business and his hard work over the past few weeks in helping me recruit players has been so valuable to Margate Football Club.”

These two appointments alongside the news two weeks ago that Mick Quinn is to take on the role of head of medical services now completes Bull’s backroom staff for the new season.
