Hereford FC have completed the signing of central defender Mark Preece ahead of Tuesday’s match with Larkhall Athletic.

The 29 year old has just left Evo-Stik League Southern Premier side Chippenham Town, where he spent the last two seasons as a regular starter. He has also played for Bristol Rovers, Mansfield, Forest Green, and Gloucester, racking up over 300 appearances in the higher levels of non-league.

Unfortunately, Preece is suspended for Tuesday’s game but will be available for Saturday’s home match with Bideford.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Alex Harris has signed dual-registration forms with Hellenic League side Lydney Town. The move will allow him to play some matches with his first game for them expected to be on Saturday.
