Burgess Hill Town manager Jay Lovett hopes to give Hillians fans more to cheer next season.
The Isthmian League season was declared null and void following the coronavirus lockdown with Lovett’s side sitting 15th.
They had a poor start to the season before Lovett replaced Simon Wormull in November. And since then they rose up the table with seven victories and three draws out of the 16 league games Lovett had been in charge. And in a video message on the club’s website, Loevtt thank everyone involved at the club for their efforts over the season.
He said: “I would like to thank all my players for all the hard work they have done for us since we have come in as a management team .
“A few other thank yous to go to people like Richard [Mamoany] and all the other volunteers who give up their time to come and look after the pitch.”
