Steve Burr has an eye on one or two more signings as he puts the finishing touches his Stafford Rangers squad for the new season, report StokeonTrentLive.
Burr hosts a Leicester City XI at Marston Road this evening (7.45pm) in the penultimate friendly and takes on Market Drayton on Saturday before the big kick-off against Workington.
The manager hopes to hand a trial game to a midfielder while another striker is also on the radar ahead of his first season back at the club.
He wants a group to cope with the rigours of a Northern Premier League campaign and has added Alex Curtis, former Brocton full-back Ben Douglas and 16-year-old Lucas Burnett to the party over the last few days. Youth teamer Max Dixon is also expected to sign up.
