Bradford Park Avenue moved to strengthen their goalkeeping options with the signing of Joe Cracknell from League One neighbours Bradford City.
The 22-year-old joins on loan until January 14th, and went straight into the team for the 4-1 home defeat to leaders AFC Fylde on Bank Holiday Monday.
Despite signing a new one-year contract in the summer, Cracknell is yet to feature for City’s first-team, playing the majority of his football so far in their reserve side.
A graduate of the academy at Hull City, he has also spent time on loan at Scarborough Athletic since joining the Bantams in 2015.
Cracknell played 45 minutes in Avenue’s pre-season friendly draw with City in the Tom Banks Memorial Trophy in July.
He joins fellow recent additions Jack Kearns, Joe Noblet and last Saturday’s goalscorer Michael Monaghan in the Avenue squad.
