It was a busy deadline day for AFC Telford United with the Bucks making four additions to the squad.
As previously reported, The Bucks signed prolific striker Dan Westwood from West Midlands (Regional) League side Wolverhampton Sporting, and also re-signed Joe Fitpatrick following his release from league rivals Boston United as well as extending the loan spell of goalkeeper Callum Burton from Shrewsbury Town until the end of the season.
The Bucks also completed the loan signing of 24-year-old forward John Marsden from another league rival, Stockport County, until the end of the season.
Marsden started his career with Wrexham before joining Scottish giants Celtic at the age of 16, but he was unlucky with injuries in Glasgow, which hampered his progress at that time.
Marsden enjoyed spells at Stoke City, Shrewsbury Town, and Southport before joining Macclesfield Town in 2015.
During the 2015/16 season, he scored 11 goals in just twentry-two appearances, despite only arriving at Stockport midway through the campaign from Colwyn Bay.
