The change in squad personnel continues apace at Wrexham, as centre-half Hamza Bencherif has signed on loan with York City.

He re-joins former manager Gary Mills, as well as former team mate Sean Newton, at Bootham Crescent.

This is a long loan through to the end of the season.

Hamza is based in Nottingham and signed on at the Racecourse in June last summer, after leaving FC Halifax Town following bother relegation and FA Trophy success at Wembley.

He went onto play 26 times in the league, scoring twice, at home to Lincoln City and away at Gateshead.

The process for his International Clearance has begun, ahead of the Minstermen’s game with Barrow.
