Torquay United defender Kyle Cameron is to leave the club this summer.

The former Newcastle United youngster has spent the past three years with the Gulls.




He was a prominent part of their National League play-off final with Hartlepool United last weekend, having two goals disallowed for Gary Johnson’s side.

The 24-year-old confirmed today that he will be moving on ahead of next season, beginning a message to supporters by saying:

“I’m getting emotional as I write this, but it’s time for me to leave and open the next chapter of my career.”
