Canterbury City have been left with no players or management team, following a decision last night at a players’ meeting.
The club tweeted this afternoon that they are now looking for a caretaker manager.
Kent Online report that manager Clive Cook held a players’ meeting last night, where the decision was made to walk away from the club.
Cook has said the squad had not been paid for four weeks, and though they did received payment shortly before the players’ meeting, the trust in the club had already gone.
