Dartford skipper Tom Bonner says positive changes are already evident early on in Steve King’s time at the helm.
King has set out to polish Darts into a footballing outfit since being appointed as successor to joint-managers Jamie Coyle and Adam Flanagan.
Echoing his manager’s remarks, Bonner insists it will take time.
“He’s come in, got his own ideas,” said Bonner.
“We’ve really stepped the intensity up in training, he wants Dartford to be a more footballing side and it’s been good.
“It’s not going to happen overnight but for the plans he’s got Dartford are only going to get better in my opinion.”
