Following a Board meeting, Woking have announced that the club have started discussions with manager Garry Hill and his assistant Steve Thompson with a view to extending their contracts beyond season 2016/17.

Hill was appointed manager in January 2011, overseeing a dramatic upturn in league form which took the Cards into the National League South play-off semi-finals.

The following season he led the club to the south title, with the Cards finishing in twelfth, ninth and seventh place in the three seasons following their return to the top division and twelfth in 2015/16.

Thompson returned to Woking in January 2011 following Hill`s arrival, having previously played for the Cards.
