Sean Carey has been co-opted on to the board at Woking.
The National League side’s new director originally joined the club in July in a financial oversight role, having been a Woking fan for many years.
He is a chartered accountant with over 30 years of experience as a financial director.
Club chairman Rosemary Johnson said: “I am delighted that Sean has joined the board; his financial expertise will be invaluable as we move forwards.”
Carey added: “I am honoured and grateful to be offered the post of director, it feels really good to be part of the Woking team. I will call on all of my experience in my new role, and I look forward to helping the club in its efforts to get into the Football League.”
