Gosport Borough have signed a second midfielder in a week.
Earlier this week, Boro snapped up Jamie Barrob from Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West side Winchester City, and now manager Alex Pike has re-signed Josh Carmichael, who had a successful spell on loan at Privett Park in 2013/14.
During his loan spell from then-Championship side AFC Bournemouth – which was extended – the 21-year-old helped Boro to reach the FA Trophy Final against Cambridge United.
Capped by Scotland at under-16 and under-19 level, Carmichael also had loan spells with Welling United and Torquay United before being released by the Cherries at the end of last season, having made four first-team appearances for Eddie Howe`s side.
Carmichael joins Boro having just finished a two-week trial with League One side Millwall
