Defender Ashley Carter has become Kidderminster Harriers’ latest new face after he signed contract with the club for the forthcoming season.
The versatile 20-year-old penned has a one-year contract.
Having spent time with Birmingham City and Aston Villa, he first signed as a professional with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2014.
Left-footed, Carter is capable of playing at the heart of defence as well as at both full-back positions and as a holding midfield player.
He’s already accustomed to life in the National League North after a fruitful spell with Tamworth at the back end of last season where he flourished in amongst the demands and rigors of the level.
The player commented: “I had a few options but I met with the gaffer and Matt Gardiner and their determination and passion they showed towards what they want to do just ticked all the boxes for me”.
