Barrow AFC managing director Andrew Casson says he expects some transfer activity over the next week or so.

The Bluebirds revealed their release and retain lists last week, with a busy summer of comings and goings expected at Holker Street. Harry Panayiotou, Thierry Audel, David Fitzpatrick, Bradley Bauress, Tony Diagne and Byron Harrison have been released, while Asa Hall, Dan Jones, Jordan White, Jack Barthram and Bedsente Gomis have been made available for transfer.

Goalkeepers Steve Arnold and Joel Dixon remain under contract, along with player-coach Grant Holt, and French duo Moussa Diarra and Donovan Makoma have been ofrede new deals, as has homegrown attacker Nathan Waterston.

“We are still going through the lists at the moment,” said Casson. “We’ve had a few conversations with people who are interested in some of our players but they are nothing more than conversations at this point.

“There is nothing to announce at the moment but hopefully that will change in the next week to ten days.”
