Stalybridge Celtic have signed former Rochdale winger Billy Hasler-Cregg.

Hasler-Cregg arrives at Bower Fold from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division North Tameside neighbours Droylsden.

He had signed for the Bloods in September from Celtic`s league rivals Altrincham, who he had joined in May 2016.

Previously, he had progressed from Rochdale’s academy to sign professional terms at Spotland in June 2015 and was assigned a first-team squad number.

He is a winger who can operate on either side of the pitch. He is good from dead-ball situations as well as a hardworking player.

After two appearances for Dale from the bench, he went on loan to Droylsden and did well for the Bloods during a seven-match spell last season.
