Central Defender Luke Ashworth joins the ranks at Bower Fold, as Stalybridge Celtic secure player number twelve.
The 27-year-old, who last played for FC United of Manchester and also worked with Steve Burr at Chester, joins the club on a 1-year deal.
Manager Steve Burr said, ‘Luke is another very important signing for us. I’ve been speaking to Luke this summer, and I’m pleased he has joined us. He’s an experienced lad at this level and the level above and still at a relatively young age. He has had a good few years at FC United, playing a lot of games for them in a successful period and I feel he can play a big part in bringing success to our club’
