Stalybridge Celtic have signed young midfielder Shea Gordon on a month`s loan from League One side Sheffield United.
Gordon becomes new Celtic joint bosses Steve Halford and Paul Phillips` sixth new signing since being appointed late last month, following the arrivals of Jay Gorton, Danny Wilkins, Gary Gee and Adam Mather from their former club, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton United, and 18-year-old Matty Gillam on `work experience` from Rochdale.
Gordon signed his first professional contract with the Blades in May having come over to England after being with Irish side Dungannon Swifts.
Gordon, who skippered the youth team, impressed having made the step up to the under-21s last term and gained international honours in March, playing every minute for Northern Ireland in three consecutive under-19 qualifying games in the Netherlands.
He had previously won caps at under-17 level
