A month ago Glapwell were celebrating their Central Midlands League North championship win.
But now the Derbyshire club have announced that they are to fold.
After a period of uncertainty, that included the resignations of manager Jordan Hall, assistant John Styring and coach Mark Higginbotham and ground issues preventing that from accepting promotions, the club took to Twitter to confirm the sad news.

The announcement comes on the back of an outstanding season, as the club broke a number of records.
In winning the Central Midlands League North they won twenty three of their twenty eight matches, plundering 148 goals during the campaign, unsurprisingly the most goals scored in a season in the club’s history.
More records tumbled throughout the campaign including the most consecutive league wins and the longest unbeaten run in the club’s history.
