Matt Chadwick has announced he is to leave Ashton United.
The forward has been top scorer for the Robins in multiple seasons, with 23 goals in the 2016/17 campaign. Following an unexpected promotion last season, the club have been battling to adjust in the National League North.
Jody Banim’s team are currently six points from safety, with one game in hand on Guiseley, a place above.
Today Chadwick tweeted: It’s time for a change just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at
@AshtonUnitedFC ,be hard to top last years feeling In football. Wish all the best to the lads, fans, board and management for the rest of season. #Aufc
