Dorchester Town boss Callum Brooks “can’t fault” the support given to him by the club and chairman Scott Symes amid a torrid run of form at the Magpies.
Brooks’ men were pummelled 6-3 at BetVictor Southern Premier South leaders Chesham United on Saturday, meaning the Magpies have now won just once in 11 league games.
Dorchester have also crashed out of the FA Cup, FA Trophy and Southern League Challenge Cup.
Prior to their exit in the latter competition to Frome last Tuesday, Brooks revealed he and Symes had discussed the club’s form in detail during a meeting.
He told Echosport: “I met with the chairman and the support the club and (Symes) have given me to help me be successful is absolutely second to none.
“He’s been calm, logical and supportive.
“I can’t fault the chairman, the previous chairman (Matt Lucas), or the way I’ve been dealt with.”
