Bostik South Central club Chalfont St. Peter AFC say they are inviting applicants for the managerial role at the club, with Danny Edwards stepping down as Saints manager at the end of the current season after 15 years at the helm.

Edwards was promoted to manager after previously being Under-18 manager at the start of the 2004-05 season, and he has since guided the club to success on the field, including the Spartan Premier League title in 2011 and an FA Vase semi-final in 2009. Keeping the club at Step 4 for eight seasons is perhaps an even greater triumph.

A popular figure with players, officials and supporters, the Saints say that everyone at the club would like to thank Edwards for the passion, loyalty and enthusiasm he has brought to his role and for the support he has given, both on and off the pitch.
