Vanarama National League South club Chelmsford City signed Mikhail Kennedy in time for him to be included on the bench and come on for Boxing Day`s 5-1 hammering of Essex neighbours Billericay Town.
The 22-year-old joins the Clarets on a month`s loan from SkyBet League One side Charlton Athletic.
The young striker has failed to appear for the Addicks’ first-team since suffering an injury to his Anterior Cruciate Ligament while on-loan with his home-town club, Irish side Derry City.
Kennedy first featured in a squad for the Addicks in 2015 as an unused sub in a 2-1 Championship win over Hull City.
The young front-man was handed his debut nine days later, however, as he opened a 4-1 Caraboa Cup victory over Peterborough United with a 3rd minute goal.
In December 2014 Kennedy was sent on-loan to VCD Athletic, the Irishman made an instant impression as he scored within 3 minutes of making his debut in a 1-1 draw at Hendon.
