Chelmsford City have signed striker Simeon Jackson.
The 33-year-old most notably played in the Premier League for Norwich City under Paul Lambert, having had a major hand in the Canaries’ promotion in 2011.
The Canadian international had made his name at Rushden & Diamonds and Gillingham.
His career has also included spells with the likes of Millwall, Coventry City, Blackburn Rovers and Walsall, as well as Eintracht Braunschweig in the Bundesliga.
Manager Robbie Simpson told Chelmsford City’s website: “Simeon has played a lot of games in the Football League and he will be a great influence, not only on the pitch but off it as well. He also gives us something different to our other forward players, which adds to our nice blend of attacking talent.
“We’re really excited to have him and I’m looking forward to him donning the claret shirt.”
