Chelmsford City have signed Ruel Sotiriou from Leyton Orient on loan.
The 18-year-old winger joins the Clarets on a one-month loan. Sotiriou signed his first professional contract, a two-year deal, with the Vanarama National League outfit in May 2018 after impressing for the O’s.
He made his O’s debut as a second-year scholar in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round qualifier with Dagenham & Redbridge on October 14th 2017. A week later, the tricky winger made his league debut as a second-half substitute in a 1-0 defeat to eventual league champions Macclesfield Town.
Sotiriou spent a brief spell on loan at Bishop’s Stortford in September, with the Hertforshire side being his third temporary home following spells at Heybridge Swifts and Leatherhead beforehand.
Sotiriou is immediately available for selection to be in City boss Rod Stringer’s squad for the trip to Concord Rangers in the Vanarama National League South this evening.
