Chelmsford City have signed striker Jake Cass.
The 27-year-old joined the Clarets ahead of last night’s game with Billericay Town, which saw Chelmsford come back from 3-0 down to earn a draw.
Cass started the comeback in the 41st minute.
The former Braintree Town player was recently with Chesham United, and his new manager Robbie Simpson told the club’s website:
“I’m really pleased that Jake is joining the club. He’ll definitely be a powerful focal point for us in attack, which we need after Charlie Sheringham’s loan ended.
“I really hope he’ll hit the ground running and score lots of goals in a Claret shirt.”
