Chelmsford City have confirmed that striker Scott Fenwick has suffered a dislocated finger.
Fenwick sustained the injury during last night’s friendly game at home to Dover Athletic. The 28-year-old was replaced early in the second half of the match, which ended 1-0 in favour of the Clarets.
Having joined the club in early-March from Maltese side Maxxar Lions, Fenwick went on to net 11 times in ten appearances as Chelmsford made the National League South play-offs.
The Gateshead native then agreed terms to remain with the club for the 2018/19 season.
