Chester have announced a new partnership to work alongside Claire House Children’s Hospice in Clatterbridge.
The joint venture will see the club work with Claire House who provide end of life and respite care for children and young adults to raise the profile of the charity as well as funds.
Mark Maguire CEO commented: “This is a further indication of our commitment to the community, we will partner with Claire House over a sustained period to support the incredible work they do, I had the honour of touring the hospice recently and to say I was humbled is an understatement – there are some incredible people making a huge difference in very difficult circumstances.”
Over the coming weeks ground boards bearing the Claire House Logo will be available for local companies to buy, and in doing so a significant donation will be directed to the Charity.
In addition, on December 17th supporters of Claire House will be invited to purchase tickets for the match against Aldershot at a special price of £10 and for every two tickets sold the club will donate £10 to the charity.
Angella Rawsthorne of Claire House said: “Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill local children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life.
“The boards around the football ground with the Claire House logo look fantastic. We are so grateful to Chester Football Club for supporting the hospice, we are looking forward to a strong partnership.”
