Chester FC have announced that striker Nyal Bell has joined the club on loan from league rivals Gateshead until 7th January.
This is the 20-year-old’s second spell with the club, having spent time on loan from Rochdale back in 2016.
Bell joined Gateshead that summer and made eight appearances last term for the Heed – scoring twice.
Chester also announced that both Wade Joyce and Evan Horwood have signed new deals to remain at the Lookers Vauxhall Stadium.
Wade has signed a contract that sees him remain at the club throughout the 2017/18 season and Evan has signed up for an initial six months.
Joyce, still only 22, made a total of thirty National League appearances for Jon McCarthy’s side last season; utilised in both defence and midfield.
Horwood made twenty-one appearances and notched a fabulous lob away at Southport which proved to be the winner back in February.
Wade has impressed the manager with his exemplary professionalism in training and around the club; and it is this type of character that the manager has identified as he plans his squad for next season.
Evan has also made a big impact at Chester off the field too – winning the Community Trust Award at the annual awards night last Saturday.
