Chester FC have had to postpone another home game due to damage at the Swansway Chester Stadium.
Recent inclement weather resulted in significant damage to electrical equipment at the Blues’ home ground, with this week’s Kidderminster Harriers game called off as a result. Now the Vanarama National League North club have announced that this coming Saturday’s home match with FC United of Manchester has also had to be postponed due to subsequent safety concerns.
It has been a miserable week all round for Chester following their 8-1 defeat last Saturday at Blyth Spartans. Yesterday, the club provided an update on the stadium situation, in which they outlined damage to the PA room, safety control room, media room, upstairs and downstairs corridor and walkways, and match official changing rooms.
