Chester FC’s youth-team captain Harrison Burke has signed a first-team contract at the Deva Stadium.

Putting pen to paper with his hometown club, the Dodleston native is a central defender that has caught the eye with his progression in the academy.

Burke made his senior debut in the Cheshire Cup victory over Tranmere Rovers in March this year, putting in a Man of the Match performance and helping to keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Blues joint-bosses Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley said: “As well as playing an outstanding part in the youth team successes of the last two years, culminating in him now being the captain, H has been training with the first team over the last 12 months as well.”
