Chester FC chairman David Harrington-Wright says talks over extending the contracts of managers Anthony Johnson and Bernard Morley are at an advanced stage, Cheshire Live report.

The Blues bosses are out of contract at the end of this National League North season and have been vocal in their desire to remain with the club and continue to build on the foundations that they have laid since first arriving in May 2018 having led Salford City to the National League North title.

“I don’t think it’s any secret that both sides want something sorted and we are working our way towards that,” said Harrington-Wright.
