Chesterfield have confirmed their stance with regard to the vote over continuing the current National League season.

The Spireites have said today in a club statement:

“We have voted for Special Resolution One and against Ordinary Resolutions Two and Four.

“This means that we are in favour of the season continuing and we believe that clubs should decide the outcome of their own divisions.

“We will learn the results of the vote in due course and hope that we are given the go-ahead to complete the season.”
