Chesterfield goalkeeper Kyle Letheren is to leave the club.

The former Salford City man is expected to be announced as a new signing for a League Two club.

The 33-year-old’s departure was confirmed by the Spireites, who said:

“Keeper Kyle Letheren’s departure from the club by mutual consent has been confirmed.

“Letheren, who joined the Spireites last August, leaves following the arrival of Adam Przybek and Grant Smith earlier this week.

“The club would like to thank Kyle for his contribution and wish him all the very best for the future.”
