Chesterfield have confirmed the signing of Blackpool forward Adi Yussuf on loan.
Yussuf’s season-long loan at fellow National League side Wrexham was cut short earlier this week, with the reason given that a permanent move was in the offing for the 28-year-old.
While his switch to the Spireites is initially as a loan, the club say there is an option to make the move permanent.
The former Solihull Moors man told his new club’s website:
“I’m grateful to be joining a great club like Chesterfield and I can’t wait to get started. I know a few of the boys here and I’ve heard good things about the club.
“From what I’ve heard, the manager is everything a player needs from a manager. I’m at the peak stage of my career and I want to be able to give everything to the club, on and off the pitch.”
