Young Chesterfield striker Curtis Morrison has been added to the Matlock Town squad for tomorrow’s Emirates FA Cup third qualifying round home clash with Workington after joining the Gladiators on a loan deal.
Morrison, 19 on Sunday, signed his first professional contract with the Spireites in the summer after impressing as a scholar, after originally joining them two years earlier.
The lively bustling forward made his first appearance at senior level in a home pre season fixture against Sheffield Wednesday, before making his competitive debut as a second half substitute in a EFL Cup tie at Rochdale in August. His Football League debut soon followed , again from the bench at Shrewsbury.
Since then Morrison has been at National League North Gainsborough Trinity.
